    After me brother put thees into a bike, me mams car has em too as standard, i am going to fit em to the GT, as it,ll mek engine run better, they quite a reasonable price too.

  2. Cut the old belt wrap it around the pulleys, the overlap is the reduction in length. Regards Paul

No as the length change to the strap is not proportional to the overall length /diameter of the belt I would suggest if no other way to measure what you need is to simulate the previous position wrap a cord around the pullies and measure its length ,, then get the revised position and repeat , the difference is what you need to change the 1085 too It obviously wont give the belt length but will give the difference Pete

  4. I noticed that one of my diagrams in the April GT6 register Courier Article has been printed all fuzzy and unreadable. This is the diagram of the MK2/Mk3 charging system, just in case anyone needs to see the clear version I've enclosed it here.

  5. I won't be there next Tuesday as I have a business trip to Germany next week, so no big mixed grill at the Shire Horse for me this time, I'll be eating currywurst and saurkraut!
