  1. Thanks Pete, I'd seen some poor reviews on theirs, any comments here? This is the ones I've been looking at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIUMPH-2000-2500-2500S-2-5Pi-MK1-MK2NEW-CARPET-SET-/322351112833? http://www.techautos.co.uk/hessian-backed-carpet-set-triumph-2000-2500--25-pi-mk2-saloon-made-to-order-30372-p.asp Again any comments\advise gratefully received.
  2. I'm currently looking for a black interior for my project. On a bit of a budget... Anyone got a good used set of seats, side section trim and door panels? If not can you just recover the door panels and get a good finish? Where is best to get a new carpet, or any seat covers I see the club don't sell anything for these? Thanks
  3. Might be the selections. On the left hand side try selecting and deselecting so just: Past Year and Forums.
  4. I would say its only going to be effective at the bottom in the drain hole as the particles will sink to the bottom. The oil at standstill will only be touching the edge of the plug and not the magnet, only when drving will it slosh over it but out doubt it will catch anything. If your quick you can swap the plug over without loosing a lot of oil and just top it back up, but if it hasn't been changed in a while then I would just drain it.
  5. Nice, love the GT6's. We were on track on Saturday for the Figaro 25th the A30-A35 Club were following us, was great!
  6. If it was rebuilt and a garage did all the work then don't you have a warranty? You should have something as at only 300 miles the work is considered not fit for purpose. I wouldn't touch it without taking it back to them as that will probably invalidate any warranty. If you paid on credit card you are also covered under that if you need. Don't give up. Get them to fix it FOC.
  7. Those are also flat looking up the number?
  8. Thanks for the replies, I am leaning towards door mirrors although the win ones look nice Are the Tex ones the way to go, looking at these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-Spitfire-Herald-Gt6-Stainless-Steel-Door-Mirrors-genuine-tex-draw5-1-/331717156863? Or any other suggestions as to what looks nice on the doors? Thanks
  9. I need to replace the wing mirrors, question is should I change the current wing ones for a door version? I'm wondering what would give better visibility and look OK. Also flat or oval mirrors Thoughts anyone? I've found a pair of new Texx Oval rounded Viewmaster© Springback Wing Mirrors for around £55 which are similar to the old one fitted MS106F. http://texautomotive.com/classic_exterior_mirrors.html Anyone seen similar cheaper new or VGC? TIA
  10. Looks good, I've done similar on another car with the radiator expansion tank to provide a low coolant warning. Also you could also add a buzzer.
  11. If its just for car body work then I would say get a cheap one. I got a 115mm sub £20 one 4 years ago and have used it a lot for big metal repairs and has been fine and still going strong. If you wanting to cut stone then I would say get a more powerful one\bigger. Also look at the design and size as some are bulky so you can't get them in small spaces.
  12. On the listing it lists the spec on one of the pics, Needs to be Android 4.0 or above. Comes as the mini-USB and adapter to full USB. Might have to google your exact version to check and advise how to enable it.
  13. If anyone wants a cheap Borescope, I ordered one of these, took 10 days to arrive but is very good picture, adjustable light and attachments for the end works on your phone or PC, very handy to have http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361383997422?
  14. Have a look at the diagrams on burlen.co.uk site, if its missing contact the supplier and et them to send you one.
