I'm not sure where that tray came from as the customer supplied it second hand but it is a very good idea someone should start making them!

Thanks we're quite proud of it. I'm fairly sure the customer will get straight on to the insurance regarding the value although the majority of the job was covered by the insurance company to start with!

Yes which is nice!. The full suspension rebuild with poly bushes and the stainless sports exhaust manifold has helped with that though????

Thanks I should have some more to post soon!. Overriders already tried and the replacement headlight panel and front valance have been shapped to suit!???? I think this is probably the 10th or 11th vitesse I have done so I definitely agree with you on the panel gaps. Unfortunately it's not a full resto just front end insurance work and a freshen up of the rest of the car but it will still line up nicely when I'm finished with it!

Hi Colin, your bonnet top sounds very interesting!! could you possibly send me some pictures of it? We have one in mind but it's got quite a bit of damage so if yours is better we would more than likely want buy it.

Hi Eddie, thanks for the reply we can take on pretty much any classic. We have restored VWs, Fords, MGs, Commer camper vans, Austin Healeys, etc. it's just we know triumphs inside out!

Hi All, As you can see from the pictures we are about to start the extensive rebuild of this mk2 Vitesse which was involved in an unfortunate accident. it was touch and go with the insurance company whether it would be written off but we managed to make our quote apealling for all party's. I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce my company CVR Automotive we are based in South East London but can collect and deliver vehicles from all over the country. Although we are predominantly an insurance approved bodyshop specialising in prestige vehicles I personally cut my teeth so to speak on the repair and restoration of Historic Triumph cars and I have decided due to demand that the time is right for us to step in to the classic Triumph market and apply my 16 years experience repairing Triumphs as we believe there is a need for a fresh alternative for triumph owners to explore. Please check in over the coming weeks for updates on the vitesse rebuild I'm really looking forward to hearing from the forum members.

Yes it is a mk1 2 litre, my mistake! I think when I started this thread it had been in pieces for so long I had forgotten what it actually was!????
