  6. I’ve got cdse’s on my Vitesse which I believe are the spec for the mk3 gt6 . There was a few issues with setting up with fuel gasket leaks , rubber slithers , new float valves , bent jet , incorrect jet height . All these issues are fixed and the cdse’s have been behaving for the last 4 years now Paul
  7. I used a piece of black plastic sheet split in 2 with a U section in each to cover the drain plug . Slide the 2 sections together locking the drain plug and silicone in . Easy to remove if required Paul
  8. Can’t agree with the Club Shop sealing kit . Very much overpriced and there are better solutions . Paul
  9. I used SilentCoat, very easy to use . Heat up first with a heat gun . For the contours use a 2ins roller used for sealing wallpaper joins. https://www.deadening.co.uk/products/silent-coat-2mm-deadening-mat?
  10. 100 mile range and £20k - not for me Paul

Assuming you don’t have a WSM you can download one free from this link . VitesseSteve site is a valuable source of info for our Triumphs http://vitessesteve.co.uk/ Paul
  12. The club shop ones are dull and look like the originals Paul
  13. I found using a ply board was useful when pulling the gearbox from my Vitesse . The board acted as a “skid” making it easier to manoeuvre in and back in and also protects the carpet Paul
  14. My understanding is that welded seams were used by all manufacturers, which are no longer available unless you can buy NOS which is very rare . All replacements have stitched seams Paul
  15. 8 metres for both doors co baines DX 73 Paul
  16. Probably volume plus a lots of hours to produce Paul
  17. As far as I’m aware the only silicone colour the club shop has is black Paul
  18. Looking to re spray my quarter lights and remove prior to spraying and replace the rivets holding the quarter light catch Canleys and usual suppliers don’t list them . Anybody know the spec? Paul
  19. The EBay sunroof sold for £920 . If the top vinyl was black instead of brown I believe the price would have topped £1,000 Paul
  20. Open video click on 3 vertical dots top right . Copy link and paste in your post Paul
  21. You can still buy the vinyl about £40 using your old one as a template . I Paul
  22. There's a new one on Ebay NOS , https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276129977476 starting price £150 though should go for serious money . You can replace the vinyl sunroof yourself for about £150 and a lot depends on the condition of the metal headers as they tend to rust. Adding a headlining is about £30 for the material. To get somebody to do it professionally is close to £1,000 nowadays. I did my Vitesse together with a new headlining . If you want to DIY i can let you have some suppliers and Uncle Pete may still have some NOS headlining for sale Paul
