When the TSSC was set up in 1977, the oldest Herald was less than twenty years old.
I always thought twenty years was the definition of a classic car originally.
Is it just with age that twenty years doesn't seem that old?
I had a dog poo brown 1300 Dolly about 10+ years ago as my daily. Drove it to Solihull plant for a year and during that time they introduced a nice brown colour. Always hoped it was because someone had seen my Dolly in the car park π
It was a nice car to drive and do regret selling

Look at the latest James Bond films and Ford and it's then product line were all over them. Even a new Mondeo before they were released.
Remember MOT exempt doesn't mean Road worthy exempt.
Worse thing ever when they bought this in.
The amount of classics for sale stating MOT exempt and haven't had one for years is scary.
Boron is only used in small parts of the body, i.e. door strengthening and dash strengthening. All other panels are normal steel or aluminium. It is a b'stard to weld or rivet tho, but not used in the majority of panels in the body.
