  1. Hi Dave! Yes adjust the gaps! I have never had carpet rails on the car but now that I am restoring her, I have found a second hand set! to finish it off. Cheers Martyn
  2. Hi Unfortunately the photos are not the best! Photo 1 - From the B Post to the first screw was 50mm, From screw 1 to screw 2 was 200mm then from screw 2 to screw 3 and onwards the is 170mm between screws! I dont know why it was 50mm then 200mm?? Pic 2 shows 170mm and this carried on to the end (screw 6)! Pic 3 - X shows screw holes on edge of inner plinth and 2nd X shows door rubber seal. It might be an Idea just to setup the Rail and using your own judgement drill the holes? I filled the holes with white powder for a better picture??

  15. Hi Jonny! I did some double checking and the Rubber Seal Quarterlight Glass-Front Pair- 8035589, came from "Rimmer Bros" They where Good Quality and fitted okay! I think some people have cut them to make it easier to fit and re-glued them afterwards? I snapped the lower pivot bolt on mine as it had rusted around the nut /spring so it was either taking the Glass out of the frame and fitting a new pivot bolt or as I had a spare quarterlight with a good pivot bolt I fitted that. However I did have to drill out the 2 x top rivets to allow me to take the inner glass frame ot to fit the rubber correctly? I am sure there was something on this, on the site? Cheers martyn
  16. Hi! And Welcome to the Mad House! I purchased some A Frame front quarter light rubbers for my 1966, 1600/6 Convertible from "Canley Classics" at "£68 last year? Pt No 803558/9 pair? Cheers Martyn
  17. Well! the Clutch & Brake master Cylinders arrived yesterday from "Triumph Recycler.com" I fitted both yesterday pm to find that I had no pressure? So I thought about it last night, and removed the New Push Rods and fitted the old Push Rods, took the tunnel off over the gearbox to gain easy access to the Master Slave, whilst I did that I went to empty the old Gearbox oil from 23 years ago, to find that there was'nt any in there anyway!! So I filled it up and checked the Clutch Fork and Rod to see if they were working okay so now I have Brakes and Clutch and they are now working perfectly. Tomorrow I will fit the Tunnel back on, lay the "Old Stock" sound deadner replace the Engine Valance and try and sort out some of the Electrics ready for the Dash! Cheers martyn
