Just started to refurbish the hood frame on my, fairly recently purchased, Mk.3.
However, I noticed that when the frame is opened out, one end of the central hoop ( the Intermediate Hoodstick, as it's called in the relevant Rimmers catalogue drawing), lies outside of the side frame member, (No.5 on the same drawing), but the other end is inside. I would guess that over time the frame has not been closed properly and caused a bit of distortion resulting in the difference I have now.
So, I'd be very grateful if anyone could tell me which is the correct positioning for that component.
Thanks in anticipation
