So in raising the front of car ( opp corner ) the clearance increases raising the front ( same side) decreases the gap ?

So I have notice rear nearside corner is sagging. have re bushed both rear suspension assemblies but no improvement? when rear end is up on jacks the wheels “hang” evenly would appreciate some guidance on what to do next as a spring replacement is costly and atm I am not convinced that is the issue? tia Neill

Just wondering if any of you lovely people can help me out with a Chrome part pls . I have a mk2 2L convertible and req the small curved strip that fits on the driver side front of bonnet (it links the side chrome to the front chrome , if that makes sense?) Thanks

on another note the green wire to the front rh indicator, should there be a thru joint for this connection in the harness across the bonnet front ? cheers

Thanks guys have now established that horn works when wired direct to battery, also there is a permanent 12v to one of the connections I now need to know where the purple with black stripe goes off to as I suspect that may be the issue ?? The diagram shows that one Purple /black wire from each horn join and then one wire goes to the horn psh assembly. I need to know where these wires join ?? Thank you

Thanks Pete I disconnected both terminals and connected a multi meter to them , pushed the horn and nothing ? Are both horns fused by the same fuse ?

Hi Guys wondered if anyone can help me (In Lay man terms ) how to fault find on a horn (Two Litre Vitesse ) The horn on the passenger side doesnt sound and I need help to fault find and repair . The wiring diagram shows a perm 12v live to each horn and the the return wire from each one then join and switch to earth through the horn push? If I have understood the diagram correctly ? So the first question is where do I locate where the two return wires join as I suspect this is a good place to start ? Also in my haste to trace the wiring I have dislodged a Blue/white striped wire from its push joint central above the front grille, there is a joint with three other blue/ white stripe wires is it safe to assume that this belongs here ? any help gratefully recieved

Hi Guys Newbie here! Have just ventured into the scary world of classic cars, by buying a lovely looking Mk 2 vitesse convertible . Am loving the car with the exception of the overly loud exhaust system would appreciate some advice here, apparently its a stainless system (except down pipe) into a centre box , then into two rear boxes . Lovely rasp at tickover but does my head in on a decent drive ! What are my options and costs pls ?? Be gentle with me !
