Thanks! Worked well, first time hearing the engine for a while

Herald not firing. Had it running in past but distributor been taken off a few times for work on oil pump... Plugs were showing signs of excessive fuel not being burned off, a healthy spark is present. I am assuming that the chamber is getting too much fuel causing the spark to not work effectively. After disconnecting the fuel line from the carburettor and running starter motor for a bit, a hint of firing was heard. over riching?
Herald threaded bonnet stay
in Bodywork & Fittings
Posted
Hi all,
I am currently restoring my triumph herald 13/60 convertible, and will need to fit bonnet stays (to save confusion, they are the ones with two rods... one with a standard thread, the other with a reverse thread, with a "sleeve nut between the two), as these are needed to keep the bonnet in its correct place, I am looking out for some... does anyone know where I could possible get these, as I have looked in the club shop, Rimmer bros, and Canley classics... but was unsuccessful...
Thanks,
Will
