  7. It looks like a genuine MK1 that has just had a bit of a spruce up Paul. I would want to view it first as it needs the front seats repairing circa £800..... and it just lacks finishing. The boot lids tend to pop up when you are driving and are a sod to fix. Also they don't say if the auto box is ok?? I bought one 18mths ago and it's a great car but as with all Stags there is always something to do. Tony.
  8. Have a look at Ford KA Street car seats Jeff, a few people have started using them as they tilt and some are heated.....Also most are leather. Tony,

  13. http://www.chapmanandcliff.co.uk These people are not to far Mike, not the cheapest but they do a fantastic job. There is a price list on the site. Tony.
  14. The heavy duty ones are easier but as Colin points out they can knacker your paintwork up. That is why i use the finger crunching type. you only do it once though. Tony.

    Shakedown run

Just change oil and filter, top up dashpots and give it a run to the garage for fuel. The noise's should soon disappear. Tony.
  20. I have seen Dentmaster remove bigger dents than that without repainting. Some of those guy's work miracles. And from memory don't charge for a quote. Tony.

    Shakedown run

I would check all levels before running Adrian, including dashpot levels on carbs as this could cause bad running. as for a couple of drips now again, don't worry about it. Also have you changed the oil and filter? That is important. The slight rub will possibly be rust on the brakes which will disappear with use. Tony.
  22. Sounds like a blocked rad Colin, for some reason they always seem to block in a circle from the centre of the fan. You can feel it with the engine off, cold in the centre. Also a bad airlock can can cause problems. Retarded timing usually causes overheating. So same as Clive really. Tony.
