Not sure about Suzuki seats, but Mazda mx5 ones work well, especially in convertibles that have the deeper economic b post to accommodate hood well. There are leather ones, ones with speakers in headrests, and heated ones. I went for the more traditional mk1 seats, which fit very nicely. Sorry if the pics are upside down, my iPad seems to insist on that...

Hi, have just bought a second hand o/d gearbox for my vitesse, and the box is actually a dolomite one with "WE" code, and its got a J Type overdrive. Question is, the input shaft has 10 splines, with about 1 3/4" tip after the splines - is that going to go straight into the vitesse engine / clutch? I haven't yet removed the old gearbox to do a comparison, and was hoping to find out before I start pulling the car to pieces! Any other issues with putting a J type into a Vitesse (old one I assume has D type), regarding mounting, or speedo drive?

I fitted a pair of black leather MGF seats, which are in excellent condition, on bespoke alloy frames into my Triumph Vitesse convertible, earlier this year. These retain the original runners to have full forward / back travel that works far better than the original Triumph runners. They are great for a saloon / estate, however I am 5'11" and they won't go quite far enough back for me as the B post in a convertible restricts rear movement. So, I have now bitten the bullet and bought yet another pair of seats (MX5 seats this time) as I think they will fit the convertible better. My winter project is now to change the seats yet again! Whilst I am at it, I will be fitting a new bellhousing, changing brake and clutch mater cylinders, and fitting a new gearbox tunnel. I'm selling the MGF seats on eBay if anyone is interested, item 171571088993. I also have the original seats, if anyone would like these FOC.
