[replacment / recon gearbox for spitfire mk4]

Hi

Has anyone got any suggestions where i could buy a new / recon gearbox for a 1300 Mk4 spitfire.

Mine is too far gone to repair

Ah Clive. I’ll not get there tonight. Currently  out in a pub in London for a work function. Driving any vehicle not on the agenda for the rest of the day. Damn. What a shame. Next month for sure.

Hi Everyone - I just bought a Spitfire IV and renewed my TSSC membership some 25 years after selling my Mk2.  The plan is to have some fun with my son and introduce him to classic triumphs. The spitfire runs and had an MOT until recently and is now exempt. Can anyone recommend a good Spitfire mechanic in Kent to give the car a once over and a service to get me up and running. Thanks. Lee
