  1. Thanks all for the replies. I've ordered a Gaiter from Canley classics and I hope to make it less obvious, if not 100%!
  2. Hi, mk3 spitfire. What's missing from the handbrake? It looks like there should be some trim? Either way it's a bit rubbish! I've tried lowering the cover but it doesn't work. Any advice is most welcome!
  3. My mk3 spitfire. The coolant system has some very minor leaking and the radiator is a bit battered. When the rad cap is removed the inside of the rad is a bit rusty looking, sludge etc. Some 'rusty' staining in and around the engine area which seems to be historic, probably when the rad cap was not fitted correctly! The car runs well. What's the diagnosis? Should I replace the radiator and any of the other parts? Any advice would be much appreciated 👍🏼
  4. Thanks for the responses. I am a TSSC member but didn't know about the valuations page so thanks. I do enjoy the car immensely but I also think it's reasonable to wonder if it will retain or increase it's value over the years. People buy classic cars for a mix of reasons I suspect. And it's Matt, Doug. Not Mark 🤣
  5. Hi all, I wonder about the the rate of appreciation for these beauties? I own a near mint example and I thoroughly enjoy driving it around and getting to know the car but I did buy it in the hope that it will increase its value. Does anyone have any thoughts on how much, how quickly, it would increase its worth, if at all? Regards, Matt.
