Hi, I'm looking for some help with a Spitfire MK2 loom, new from Autosparks. I'm fitting it in a kit car so I don't have a reference. On the left by the passenger footwell I have lots of connections and I don't know what they are for. Have a look at the picture and if you can help please comment. I know the one is for the flasher unit. Thanks Ian

I'm restoring a kit car based a Vitesse. The column light switch has three positions and four wires. What I don't understand is the brown wire is only about 5 amps yet it powers all the lights. Is this correct? The other wires are more substantial. Thanks for any input.

Thank you all for your help. I rang James Paddock and they have one although they thought it was only for the 1600, but mine says 2000 on log book!

Hi I want to either get a new mechanical fuel pump or overhaul my existing one. It is the Vitesse Mk 1 AC pump with the almost straight lever. I can't find replacement ones, does anyone do them? or if not who sells the best overhaul kit? Thanks

Thanks, The grease came with the dust seals, the rear cylinders are new, hence I thought I was supposed to pack some under the rear rubber seals.

Thanks for your replies, I've looked at the calipers but it doesn't say 16P. What should the mounting hole centres be?

Hi, thanks for all the help I'm getting on this forum. I have bought all the parts to refurbish the rear brakes on my Vitesse kit car. It includes a tube of rubber grease which came with the cylinders fitting kit. There is no mention of rubber grease in the workshop manual. Do I just use it on the rubber dust covers? Thanks

Thank you, I will have a really good look tonight.

That's what I thought but they were sold as radius arm bushes.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.
I purchased rear radius arm bushes from a company called ANG. The hole in them is 7/16 but the bolts on my car are 3/8. Were different sizes used on some models? I thought I would ask before I ring them on Thursday. Thanks

Sorry I meant how do you know when they are screwed in enough, coz mine start to go stiff but I can still turn the if I force them. thanks

I wonder if anyone can help me. I bought a brake overhaul kit for my Vitesse. On the logbook it says it is a Mk 11. But the rear shoes are too big and three of the hoses are wrong. I've tried to contact the seller but the phone goes to answerphone. Can anyone help with advice? Thanks
