This makes me think about rummaging in the garage. I may have a couple of 5/8 to 3/4 wix adaptors left from when I imported 20. They enable you to use a wide variety of filters, including a Mann double valved one.

Hi with the plugs removed can you get a ring spanner on the crank nut,ive also done it before by having the fan belt very tight and turning the fan but mind your fingers
