Clive, thanks for the reply much appreciated. Sorry for slow response. RR shaft been on and running happily and quietly for past 4yrs until last August when the head gasket blew and it had to be taken to bits. I’ve got the upgraded oil feed to head. Normally after my much trusted garage have had it in they work miracles and it runs perfectly. This time it’s just right!

Can’t find the original gap settings for the roller rocker shaft on my Spitfire 1500. Currently set gaps as per standard set up and it’s way noisier than it was. Any idea what they should be? Tried suppler and they don’t know!!!
