  1. Thanks for the tip Pete. Yes I have those plates with the mountings spot welded in position. They are very well made & heavy gauge, should be an improvement on what has been done previously.
  2. Thanks for that info Josef. I'll be slicing my door sill plates soon as both sides have the mountings missing!
  3. Hi, can anyone tell me if the door gap bracing tool that is sold for the Spit/Gt6 will fit the Herald range please? If not, what do members use? Many thanks. G.
  4. Here she is on the road. You'll notice a slight right hand rear wing alignment problem but I will not be rectifying it as she appeared like it on screen and its part of her character!
  5. Robert B Massey were the Triumph dealers in Hull & Beverley at that time.
  6. Hi Colin. Yep, I think they did run it into the ground hence the replacement car CXE in the later series. It was 'restored' by persons unknown to me & sold at H&H auctions in Buxton, then hidden away in Harrogate for a decade. Melted wiring near the petrol tank was not a good sign. It still needs work but at least it's on the road! Have been invited to take it up to Holmfirth next year for the 50th anniversary of LOTSW where it will be on display for a couple of days (warts n all) outside Nora Battys house.
  7. The registration of the 1200 model was GJN107D. I own the ORIGINAL car used in the programme WRH132J. It can be identified on screen by the wrong boot hinges & lack of rear wing crossed flags.
