Any ideas on how to remove the fuel tank from a '68 Equipe GT4S 1300?

Yes, thanks for replies. I suspected as much. Now then which way up does the sender unit go? 12v spade up, or earth spade up??

Sorry should have said it's a1300 gt4s four cylinder .Assuming the ends of the cable are the same it's just the length that needs to be right?The reason for the query is that there never was a herald with O/D,was there??

           I need a new speedo cable for my '68 Bond equipe with D type O/D.

                Am I right in thinking it would be a Vitesse Item?

In 1964 the school I attended in Urmston made a film called "The Green Cloud"and this can be viewed on YouTube.(simply type "The Green Cloud) At the 5'25" mark as one of the teachers crashes  his Morris Minor into a tree ,the Triumph TRX can be seen in the top right hand corner of the screen. I new the man who owned the car at the time and remember asking about it.He toid me only two existed.Soon after he moved away and took the car along with him.I shall always remember that strange car from all those years ago.

I'm assuming that the courier spring is stiffer hence better handling .would estate car be similar?Swing spring conversion is a little expensive

             Is there in existence a chart of small chassis spring rates ?

I've just adjusted the rear brakes on the Bond and found that the spring was broken so I need to know which rear spring

 

was fitted to Equipe GT4s 1968 1300 .Herald,Spitfire or something else??
