Hi Pete
Thank for your reply, yes I have printed off the old MOT's so I will try to build up a history for the car and hope the file turns up.

I have recently purchased a 1972 Triumph TR6, registered number UBP578K, it is red with a white flash along the sides. The last owner has had it for over thirty year and it was his pride and joy, however due to an illness he is in a home and his family sold the car. Apparently there is a large history file somewhere but the family can't find it at the moment, so I am a little in the dark. But due to lighting under the bonnet and many items chromed in the engine bay I feel the car may have been entered in shows.
I have tried to attach photo's to this post but I get the error messaged 200, if anyone feels they know this car, I would appreciated any information.
Thank you in anticipation.

Hi
I go by the name of Sheptenelan, and I have just joined the club after purchasing a beautiful 1972 red, Triumph TR6.
I am retired and having spent over twenty five years in the Honda Goldwing Club GB, travelling many thousand of miles in other countries, it was time for a change. I sill have two classic Goldwing's, but I always wanted a TR6.
I have to say that I am a petrol head and just love bikes and cars, in the 70's I had an MGB GT, MGB and a Sunbeam Alpine, not all at once I might add. So when I decided to buy a classic car it just had to be a TR6, so here I am.
I am located in Leeds, West Yorkshire and I hope to get out and about to various function and look forward to meeting some of you.
Cheers All

The switch on the plate is to turn on the light to illuminate the engine bay, I presume for shows.
