  1. Hi, My name is Chris Buckingham, I own and run Eureka Triumph. By default, I am typically reserved about writing on forums hence radio silence till now. That said, I thought it was about time I answered a few questions out there... How long have we been around? We have been in business a number of years and we specialise in Triumph engine rebuilds. It was originally started by my late father, Brian Pollard, as he had a passion for building and racing cars. In later years, we focused mainly on Triumphs. What does EurekaTriumph do? We do Standard Rebuilds, Fast Road, Short Blocks and Cylinder heads. We have access to do anything that your engine requires. However, we are currently not taking any new orders due to prioritising our current customers, for this reason, the website is currently unavailable as we receive a lot of new requests through it. Where is EurekaTriumph? We are located in Angelsey, North Wales and as noticed, I don't advertise our address. This is due to a number of break-ins in the past, and I guess old habits die hard. This is to protect our customer's property as much as ours. We have no concerns about giving our address to customers though, for their own peace of mind. What about feedback? As noticed, we also trade through ebay, see the link below for 250 sales, all with 100% feedback. We also have testimonials on our website, all of which are real customers. https://www.ebay.co.uk/fdbk/feedback_profile/eurekatriumph?filter=period:TWELVE_MONTHS,overall_rating:POSITIVE What about the low prices? It seems that I should have been on the forums earlier... We haven't increased our prices in a number of years and in our recent company reset we found that I could make more per hour in Mcdonnalds than as a professional engine builder. Due to this, our prices will be going up to be more in line with our competitors in the future. What's the price for a new engine? Whilst I don't want to publish my prices on here just yet, I would say that it is largely dependant on what the engine builder is doing for you. Our customers sometimes request the original block be kept to maintain a matching numbers car, others are less concerned. Whatever the request, we always make a tailored recommendation to prospective buyers based on how original, or customised they would like their engine. We also base it on the state of the original engine and how much can be salvaged or reused. I hope this answers a lot of the questions out there. If I can help you in any way, please do write through to admin@eurekatriumph.com, however please note that we are not currently taking new orders. When our website is back up (www.eurekatriumph.com) and states that we are open to new orders... then I hope that you come to us for whatever your engine needs are. Sincerely, Chris
