  1. hi looking for a herald estate any condition for my next project paul
  2. had a look will order, do you know which type i need for the boot mark cheers paul
  3. hi where do i purchase the correct door and boot seal ,purchased some from a ebay seller now the doors will not shut balloon side seems too thick . for a saloon model paul
  4. normally just need a pry bar behind and lever off as you work your way round it ,if the engine is still ln the car careful it does not suddenly come off and hit you in the face it hurts paul
  5. just had a check same as on my bond gt4
  6. looks like the one on my bond , has the mk2 spitfire engine fitted ,
  7. check the choke is not stuck on a tad , had it with mine enough to make it run faster hotter bit less go worth a look paul
  8. i had this corroded master switch where the cables are soldered on cleaned up then contact cleaner worked fine. or could just be corroded loose bullet connectors .
  9. dug out the wiring diagram all clear now thank you all for your help paul
  10. have the feed from the switch on terminal 1 then the other to earth .
  11. have no loom wires to go by, as loom had been cut i am using a old loom to splice in as required. just had a look my motor has 1 earth on the wiper casing , then 2 spade terminals sure i have then right as the motor runs from the switch ok ? done a bench test before i fitted 1 to other live on the battery checking i had the live feed on the correct spade first .thank you for your help colin probably me not thinking it through paul
  12. he sorting out the wiring on the bond . has the same square type wiper motor as the early herald , wired up but will not go back to park position only if you catch it on the switch , sure it should self park . must have a wire wrong at the moment 2 going to earth 1 going to switch live both earths going to a spade terminal on the bulk head got a feeling probably where the problem may be paul

  14. the loom used was from a early herald few differences from the vitesse set up
  15. same on my vitesse on a roundabout very embarrassing ,
  16. all sorted the 2 black wire where the flasher unit covered in underseal 2 whites to the same. loom wise just need a bit of wiring to suit the vitesse dash so all going well , thank you all for the help paul
  17. just had a thought probably not the correct loom different dash setup to the herald , start again
  18. thank you colin that was it flasher unit , problem is the car came in boxes with a lot of wrong parts had a choice of 2 looms so went for the herald one based on the age of the car looks like that was the correct one . paul
  19. you could just be right think that may be it. just had a quick look looks like 2 black wires for flasher unit but 3 terminals so looks like problem solved , thank you josef
  20. ok the white wires where taped together with the regulator ones about 6in long, not coil have the ignition wired it turns over and fires , strange .
  21. hi having slight problem wiring the regulator on my 1965 equipe , the car came in bits so no markings on the loom . bit stuck have black/ 2 yellows / 2 browns / 2 brown and blue /yellow and green/ then 2 white. just the 2 whites not sure about / only number i can find on the regulator are RB1062/ help please paul
