    Started with a Spitfire 1500 at the age of 19, then drifted from the fold with things like MK1 XR2, convertible mk2 Cavalier, 1952 Anglia hot rod, 1954 Morris Minor (1275cc, minilites), and most recently a 93 mk1 MX5.
    Now looking for a Herald to fill the garage.

  3. Thanks everyone. It’s inspired me to order a Denso alternator and give it a go! Question for those who have done it... is there a specific model number for the 40Amp Denso alternator? Thanks Andy
  4. Can anyone recommend a good supplier for an alternator conversion kit for a Herald 13/60 please? Prices seem to vary a fair amount, but I’d like to check what experiences other people have had. So far I’ve looked online at Wins International, Quiller, James Paddock, and Rimmer Bros. Any advice and recommendations will be very gratefully received Thanks!
  5. Hi all I’d like to fit a rev counter in a 13/60, and have a few questions for those who know (and apologies if this gets asked on a regular basis!)... My plan would be to fit the rev counter in the existing hole next to the speedo and to install fuel, temp, oil gauges elsewhere. So, my questions are: Is this viable? How difficult would it be to use a mechanical drive rev counter? Could I use dials from, say, a Spitfire (to keep things in the family)? Any advice or links to previous threads will be gratefully received! Cheers Andy
