  1. Oh yes thanks, Moss too https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/en-gb/diaphragm-150cd-hydrin-based-521153x
  2. Yes but I've got some spare to leave in a jar of E10 and see what gives !
  3. Thought to ask cos mines just petrol approved generic, I presumed being new for that reason alone it would suffice...
  4. Do you have a reference for what you've put on or did you just go all out for the Gates Barricade stuff ?
  5. Ok good to know, shame though as melting/dissolving it away would have been easier to diagnose... ok will stubbornly stick with it and keep an eye on things 👍
  6. For anyone wanting to monitor it do you know in what way it can attack rubber, does it dry it out causing it to perish or does it melt/dissolve it away ? After all its not the end of the world to occasionally pop the tops of the carbs to inspect... especially as it seems I've found myself in an "EV department" with possibly even the end of SP98 being imminent !
  7. Phew I was hoping you'd suggest that as the only potential issue as I renewed every hose when doing the fuel line routing and the pump is a modern electric, is there evidence of carb diaphragms failing as a result ? Oh well fingers crossed then and there I was joking about running a test mule in a past post, here I am doing it 😃
  8. Thanks, I was doing the same until I learnt many people on here are successfully using E5 95 very economically with over advanced timing, just wanted to test it out but discovered its already a thing of the past where I am... It would seem policies that might be national abroad vary by department in France, another example being purchase tax on EVs or Hybrids, for example for me in the Vaucluse its fully subsidised whereas if I lived just over the river in the Bouches-du-Rhone its high. Another reason to move further north 😃
  9. Chris hi, being in France too do you mind me asking what you run yours on ? Just discovered we no longer have E5 95 here, just E10 95 or E5 98, cheers
  10. Totally agree, they've aged really well too and regardless of the way all things transportation are going it would be nice to think they'll appeal to the younger generations to come
  11. I'm still aware of possibly having offended lots of people with my past remark : " In fact as soon as I started I was regretting suggesting a 20mph start with the gearbox sounding like a bag of spanners, knowing what it drives like when using the revs its humbling how horrifically slow they really are with such a test, still it serves a purpose, hopefully... " I just want to make it clear I was only referring to the specific test, otherwise they are absolute weapons on the road ! I just topped up with what will be nearly the third tank of SP95 but I just discovered it is in fact E10 not E5 (why do they keep letting me out!) Turns out E5 95 is no longer available in my region, only E5 98... Car is running better than ever though, and those timed runs were done with it, any thoughts ?
  12. Oh gotcha, choosing a photo of a car that is also front angled threw me there Johny... anyway thats all, I personally think those last two are the ducks nuts 😍 Possibly with different rims but the options are endless...
  13. You specifically said "but needs to slope a bit more"... Right last ones then with body height squashed by 4" and lowered by another 2" 👍 A rather nice two car garage this !
  14. Sorry been clearing a fallen tree... found a better quality photo so how about this ? Reduced it by 4" then lowered and tipped it
