Define “ not old”.
-
Bear in mind , most are run by more mature people who prefer phones. Fitchetts being a prime example

Best bet keep your eye on the many herald/ triumph Facebook pages. That’s where most sales appear to happen.

Simply post a picture of you next to your car. Also you should have a Tssc sticker. Facebook is a good social medium to use to socialise.

Every two years. They always find something.

They are extremely rare. Personally I’d value them at the same price as a coupe but I’m sure someone will correct me !

Many Facebook followers are not club members. I believe there’s a note on the paperwork that came with the courier?

Tyre manufacturers say replace after 7 years but, to paraphrase Mandy Rice-Davies "They would say that wouldn't they?"
I think 7 years is a guide line, sunlight does for them and a lot of us are keeping them in the garage 1/3rd of the year or more. I'm starting to get anxious as mine are 7 next year.
Which company is the biggest manufacturer of rubber tyres in the World?
Doug
I worked with Mandy in 86. Her programme credit stated “ after a little spot of bother in 1963 , Mandy moved to Israel “

What did some people vote for in 2016. That’s your answer.

I use a visual deterrent with a steering lock bar , plus a led flashing away , discrete switch to operate .

This is my method. I don’t always lock the doors and leave nothing of value in he car. Only in the boot.

Look through the manuals on this site and teach yourself. You'll save yourself loads and enjoy doing it. A nice dry garage is a good start, it won't deteriorate in there.
People who specialised in classics are disappearing fast.
Nice theory. But most folk I know would be starting from scratch. That’s easier when you are 18 and it’s your first car …

In the eighties and nineties, it was known as resale red. Now I suggest that colour is less influenced. However some of the rarer colours are in fact now often more popular with some models of triumphs.

Mine was £15 on eBay 6 months ago.

I suggest in factory condition it’s no worse than any other car of the era.

1250 is a 1200. But has a slightly higher trim level and a little more power. What’s the commission number?

Thanks all for the replies.
There appears to be a little play in the rear prop spider, so its off to Shelleys props for some love. Its a solid prop that was cut down to fit the overdrive 33 years ago and has been fine since, so its forgiven. Im now considering now having my spare diff reconned and swapping it over winter, as it was a good used one, i put on about 34 years ago....

My heralds minor rear rumble has suddenly escalated to a vibration snd louder rumble. Located in the centre rear of car. ( by diff. ) When setting off it’s started to “ clang “ as you change from 1st to second. I initially blamed the exhaust for the clang but now think it was the prop resonating. . There appears to be no play in the prop ujs. However. There’s lots of play in the diff. And the ns output bearing feels worn. Before I jacked it up I thought prop. But now I’m favouring diff.
