    Dash cams record in three minute snips. A go pro would be a better bet. You can get cheap ones of amazon that do the job
  4. Just looked back at this . Yes mine was from paddocks, and did fit after the mating surfaces were very carefully cleaned a few faces filed and a new gasket !

  7. Use social Media. For example on facebook we have Shropshire farmers and small holders Shrewsbury Buy and sell etc, all work really well. We have let out a couple of stables for storage this way.

    Fumes

    Constant battle. Not helped by leaky gearboxes dripping on exhausts ! Again I would suggest the gearbox cover is main culprit.

  11. sounds like you have the Tacho drive in the back of it.
  12. i had it on a mountney. slacken the column and give a larger gap. job done
  13. If you buy new check they are the same. It's a common part on 60 s classics and they do vary.
  14. Update. The 72 degree behaves well On my original guage, it sits in the middle. On a borrowed guage, it sits below( where expected) I plan to get a new guage ( unless I can cheaply calibrate mine ) and then put the correct thermostat in.

  22. An overdrive gearbox is your friend. They can run a bit hot over 65 as its high revs, the oil thins too so if using motorways an oil cooler could be considered. TBH as long as its not running too hot I wouldnt stress.
