  1. Thanks Roger, I'll upload pictures of switch and wire plug on wiper motor. First pic is of I believe a Lucas switch for 2 speed motor, but cannot find wiring diagram for it. 2nd pic is the wired plug on the wiper motor So question is how do I wire switch and can I do it without a really?
  2. This may have been discussed before so excuse my repetitive question. I have a 2 speed lucas wiper motor with 5 pins. It was originally set up with a relay, I changed the switch and found a wiring diagram that did away with the relay. Anyways this old rotary switch is somewhat unhappy. i have looked at a Lucas toggle switch and have seen some advertised. which would be the best switch to fit the hole in the dashboard, and also how to wire it without a relay to the 5 pin plug. Any help would be appreciated, I have googled till my brain has started ti fizz, going for a lie down now.🙄
  3. Thaks clive just ordered a roll and will check underneath. Shaf
  4. Thanks , managed to do it, but fuel metal pipe rusty and sprang a leak, took the boot off to gain more wiggle room. Now to find a new pipe. Thanks Shaf
  5. Thanks will go back out and try and wiggle, have been doing it for 20mins already. Good to know not to touch drain plug. Thanks
  6. Hi all, Help required, I'm trying to fit rear passenger side valance, I think I have have to remove the petrol tank to locate the nuts to remove old one, here in lies my problem, I cannot get the tank out especially if I try and pull the tank up in the boot to clear the drain plug, do I need to remove drain plug? I don't want to as I know they can be awkward and leak. Any tips welcomed. Thanks Shaf
  7. Thanks Steve, more dam welding, costing me a fortune to keep on the road.
  8. Just a quick question, are the side rails just bolted on to the main chassis and body or do they have to be welded as well? Thanks Shaf
  9. I would like to add, I read the Courier magazine but do not keep it, the previous website where people could ask for help and receive it , with the vast knowledge of members was what made it for me. I have only recently come back on line, having found that you now have the forum reinstated. What a fantastic idea and somewhat slow uptake. Please get this through. What a wealth of knowledge just waiting to be made available on line. At the moment I am having to search google for what the back dated couriers would already have dealt with. Regards Shaf
