  1. I've been a club member since 1999 when I bought the Spitfire, my first and only classic car. It had been partially restored by the previous owner and was in running order and it's been a work-in-progress ever since. The wiring loom was always a bit ropey (no pun intended!) but was serviceable until 2016 when it caught fire. Luckily it was at a garage who managed to put it out before any damage was caused. The car is currently on my drive until the wiring has been replaced. My enthusiasm is rapidly diminishing and I want to have the car back on the road for next summer. I'm looking for help with the job and don't mind paying for the time and effort required.
  2. I'm about to start a complete rewire of my 67 Mk3 Spitfire. I've already acquired a complete loom from Autosparks and would appreciate any hints and tips to make the job easier. Are there any parts, tools or connectors that could help? Many thanks in advance, Steve
