  1. I just bought a new autosparks GT6 Mk2 loom. I expected the new loom to look just like the old one but it doesn't. First there are fewer or more wires at some points and the branches do not branch off in the same places. Also, very surprisingly all the light connectors are spade type rather than bullet (as per the connections on the lights themselves). This would mean changing the connectors on the new loom which seems very strange. Is this normal or have I bought the wrong loom??!! The guy who sold it to me is very knowledable and swears its for my car. Confused!! Any advice appreciated. Many thanks Rich
  2. GT6 mk3. Please will someone post pictures of the loom route from the top of the arch, backwards, to the rear lights. If you have the night dimming relay, that too please. Thanks folks.
  3. Hi all. Can anyone recommend one of the suppliers of new looms for the GT6 ? In particular, I'm interested to know who if anyone, supplies looms with terminals already attached, or even with them labelled ! I can obviously get hold of a wiring diagram and I'm happy to work it all out, but just wondered if any one option did it better than others. Thanks a lot.

I am about to embark on fitting a new wiring loom (main and body) from Rimmer bros, the old loom was taken out years ago so no real reference point (though I have the smaller looms such as gearbox and front lights etc) I plan to use the various wiring diagrams, the new looms and a dose of common sense. To that point does anyone have any additional advice for doing this or can you advice if I need any additional wires or connectors than supplied, i.e. earth wires or similar (as I said I have the smaller harnesses for lighting and gearbox etc so should be covered there) and I'm aware I need the various relays and flasher unites etc etc.... Just trying to make this as painless as possible so any advice that can be provided would be very much appreciated Thanks Ben
