Hi all Has anybody found any decent steering column bushes on the market? Having just had the battle of a life time removing the old (for MOT advisory on the top one), fitting the new ones has also proved a challenge only to find the side tabs broken whilst fitting and frankly, I've little confidence that the plastic inserts staying in place for long, once I've managed to get them in!! Such a shame to remove such a good quality OEM part (albeit, very 'slightly' warn) and have to replace with a 'nasty' part I got the replacements from Rimmer's and understand there is one main producer of this type for most suppliers but wondered if anybody has found a better quality replacement? Thank you. Gary
Hi everyone, Just a quick question regarding the Triumph GT6 MK3 mounted switch brackets with the transfer stickers on, for the indicator and lights. I had to replace my old ones as they were completely worn away, I bought some new ones and attached them but I'm unsure if they are correct as I looked in one of the books on GT6 MK3's and it was displayed as being the opposite way round...? Just a bit confused about with way round they go? I have attached pictures of how they are at the moment. If anyone can reassure me of the correct position that would be great and if anyone can supply me with picture that would be brilliant. I'm actually also not sure which switch is the indicator and which is the lights Regards, Jim.
Hi Does anyone have the correct front wheel camber angle data and the front & rear wheel toe in/out settings for a 1973 GT6 please? Also, are the settings laden or unladen. There appears to be conflicting data in the manuals I've looked in! While I'm at it, same applies to tyre pressures - any views for 155 x 13 tyres? Thanks in advance.
I've had my Vitesse for 6 months now and I'm trying to replace the steering rack with a recon unit. Haynes have been great in the step by step approach however when it comes to "remove rack from the side of the vehicle" it seems to me an impossible task? Can anyone help with some advice as to how to get the rack out in one piece?
