Badwolf
Pete - It might be useful if we all post the reference of the seals that we have found to fit. Perhaps you could edit them into a list on your first post in a similar way to the index that I keep on the first post of my restoration thread so that I can find things. Just an idea for when you have nothing else to do.... I'll close the door on my way out!!

Patrick Taylor
This has reminded me, I must get some DX73 seals for Bertie the Bond: I've had two different specialists replace the seals, and each time they have fitted furflex balloon ones, so I'm on door slamming duties, which can't do the fibreglass any good. Time to revert to the original lip seals. Can anyone confirm that DX73 is correct for a Herald/Vitesse?

I'm going for 12 metres, as the Bond has opening rear windows, which I reckon will require another 1.5 metres, plus an allowance for corners etc.

Paul H
1 minute ago, Mathew said: Does that have the furry covering or is it just rubber? Gt6 door seals, side window and rear hatch? Contacted Baines and they said they don't currently stock those items? So if someone has order, what did you order? Going to put my order in tonight as the stag windscreen needs to come out so i can weld a patch in. Hi Mathew DX73 is rubber Paul
NonMember
The trimmer who did my Spitfire suggested I should replace the furry-covered door seals (NOS Unipart I'd acquired from a colleague who'd had them in his garage since he owned a Spitfire back in the day, and already failing a month after I fitted them) with something like the DX73 for its significantly better durability.
