Iain T
I've booked tickets for both days. It's one of the great events of the year, marvellous machines and the car park has some of the rarest cars about! We stay in a hotel at Cheltenham on the 6th and walk to town centre for a meal and several drinks🍻🍷🥃. I'm praying to Ra the sun god for good weather...... Anyone else going? Iain T
Great two day event and the weather was glorious! The machinery as always ranged from exotic to downright wierd but all period. The newly restored Bugatti Type 57 in the museum is a work of art as much as a car. I've shown my opinion of the best rear end of the day! The Era's and an ALTA were very quick as we're some of the very querky big twins some no more than a chassis, engine and minimal bodywork. There was a procession of Trojans. Google the Trojan engine it's very unique! The field was full of all sorts of veteran cars and very interesting to talk to the owners. In my book a must do weekend, long may it endure! Iain T
Trojans! The very odd configuration engine is mounted under the seats in between the chassis rails. It has four pistons but only two combust so a sort of two stroke. It never caught on.......These cars are 1920s. VID_20220807_122654.mp4
