My SGS compressor noise level changed and a plastic “relief valve “ blew out . That what I think it is and the room filled up with oil spray . Is it goosed or should I just refit the plastic plug . The plug is lying on top of the compressor . 26E5719D-672E-44BC-B90C-491C1F07A0A1.thumb.jpeg.d286aa1d7a5d010b8248916e27fa0d25.jpeg

Just found the manual and it’s called the oil breather pipe

Just now, Colin Lindsay said:

So methinks the oil wasn't breathing, pressure has built up and the plug has blown out. Can you wash the plug in petrol, or otherwise clean it out, and allow the pressure to escape again?

Thanks Colin . Will give it a try . This is the only SGS product I’ve got left . 1 tonne and 3 tonne jacks have both packed up
