Fitting Mk3 Spit front bumper.

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to adjust the bumper mounting points without if effecting the bonnet position.

I am trying to fit my new front bumper, the 2 top bolts on the overrider fit OK but the bottom one does not and the wing bolts are too far forward.

Any ideas?

File/dremel the holes and fit spacers/washers as appropriate I’m afraid. Check the bumper shape against the original though in case something is distorted before attacking the car!
