NonMember Posted September 10, 2022 Report Posted September 10, 2022 If it's not leaking I'd leave well alone. You can treat the surface to clean up the apparent cracks and hardness, though I can't remember what with. I'm sure Pete will have a suggestion.
foshi Posted September 11, 2022 Author Report Posted September 11, 2022 anyone know what the product is mentioned in last post by nonmember paul
Pete Lewis Posted September 12, 2022 Report Posted September 12, 2022 al i and production ever used on rubber screen seals was black bostic aka gutter sealant cheap easy to clean with white spirit but i dont know of anything to rejuvenate cracked old rubbers the rear screen is same as the front needs a string around the flip to pull it over the flanges you can add sealer before you fit or pipe it in after ...down to preference and use a an old glove or sock filled with dried sand or shot to give the glass a good whack to bed it in place never uses a rubber mallet or anything similar a soft whacker is the normal Pete
