Worm drive Clips?.

I assume the original Jubilee's had an indented band the worm gear drives rather than the later copies which are a perforated drive band which chew the rubber hose up when tightening.

I only use the indented type, a fellow club member here takes originality to the extreme and uses the original wire type which leaves horrible grooves in the hose.

I`ve looked at some of the advertised "product". Recently I had a selection which where alleged to be Genuine "Jubilee". They tended to collapse the screw holder. The perforated type are usually made from too thin material and tear for a pastime. I like the "proper" hose clamp`s but not always practical in some applications. Many years back I used (comercially) a product called "Bandtite", But that is better for larger sizes.

I just wondered if anyone here had, had a recent "good" outcome.?

Try KAWstore - it's a proper business not some micky mouse set up.

Or for stainless Jubilee clips try Westfield fasteners.

I've been mugged off on Amazon that many times for this sort of thing that I don't even bother with it any more.

A real brand Jubille clip is a joy unlike generic worm drive clips.
