BobK
Does anyone know what windscreen and hood seals fit the Bond Equipe Mk 2 2 litre convertible and where they can be purchased ?
Josef
Your best bet is to write to Guy Singleton (the club Bond registrar) as if there is a source, he’ll know of it!
BobK
Josef, Thank you. I should have thought of that but now done. BobK
Colin Lindsay
Let us know if these are the same as the Vitesse, being the same bulkhead, but just more raked? (If so, £38.95 from James Paddock) The front hood seal may be the same again. (£10.45) Possible, I'm guessing here as I don't know the exact differences! The hood side seals are also available from Paddocks and in some cases are slightly oversize so are cut to length, but if the curvature of the door glass is the same as Herald / Vitesse then there's a good chance they'll fit too. Unless you've already tried all that and know they differ?
BobK
Colin, Thank you for this information. I haven't tried anything yet as I have just bought the car (from Northern Ireland) and am checking things out. Guy Singleton said the windscreen seal is Dolomite, the rest Vitesse and the glass is all Bond. I'll have a look at Rimmers. Regards, BobK

This one? Drove past me at a show two years ago, I nearly didn't get the camera out in time so caught the rear end... I think I saw it for sale recently. It's a small world over here so most of the cars are well known.
BobK
That's the one.

COH Baines are worth checking for seals https://coh-baines.co.uk/ (Rimmers may often be the fastest, but they’re also usually the most expensive for the same part…)
BobK
Josef, Thank you. I have seen some good comments here already on COH Baines stuff so will have a look there too. Regards, BobK
