griffipaul
I presume small chassis lower and upper wishbone bush mounts are made from flat steel and rolled round and hence have a join. However lower front wishbone rear mount has opened up as shown in photo front mount shown for comparison. Any opinions on this ? Is this normal. Thanks in advance. johny
Not normal and it looks like its missed out on the welding! I assume they should be seam welded like normal tube, I'll have to check mine...

griffipaul
Yes could possibly have opened up if pusher was a bit too big. I don't reckon they are welded.
johny
Its just the join looks made perfect for running in a bead of weld😁 Edited July 20 by johny
Steve P
Yes I would say someone has been heavy handed trying to get an old seized original bush out back in the day. S
