JonLow
I bought a new set of replacement chrome plated wheel nuts and collars from Rimmers. But with two years the plating started to peel off. Less than 1000 miles on the road and already there was some rusting under the peeling chrome. Some of them still look good, but most are a bit shabby now. Can anyone recommend a quality set from suppliers? Also what are peoples experiences with stainless steel items, are they strong enough and do the threads hold up O.K.? Thanks. johny
Sorry cant help but good to know that wheel nuts can be added to the black list like pattern part chrome overriders and of course any new rubber components. Perhaps you'd like to enter this is the 'New Competition Anyone' thread started on here recently😀
dougbgt6
Jon, I have stainless steel wheel nuts, unlike bunpers the stainless steelness doesn't notice. Doug
trigolf
I replaced the rusty chrome nuts with stainless steel ones from Canley Classics years ago. They still look good and perform fine.
