Spencer Goulding
I'm approaching the end of my Herald 13/60 restoration. I now need to have the drivers seat completely restored, but don't know who to go to for a good, but not extortionate job. Does anyone have any recommendations, particularly in the Worcestershire/ West Midlands area? (Spencer)
Eric Smith
Hi Spencer I would look on line to see who advertises near you, there must be trimmers or upholsterers in the south of the West Midlands near Worcester who will do the work for you, I know of a car trimmer in the Walsall area but he is a lot north of you - the guy is actually in Walsall Wood or Shire Oak I cannot remember which, he has even been on Drew Pritchards car restoration tv show. I think most upholsterers will do a car seat, but I suppose a trimmer would be the best bet, from the Worcester area you have all of the old motor trade areas of the West Midlands county and region and if you need to - go further afield across towards MK or Luton or down into Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire all of which are automotive manufacturing areas in easy reach I think an hour on the net including the online Yellow Pages and some phone calls will see in a good place.
