Keith Scotch
This is an unusual request. I'm the proud owner of a Mark3 GT6. Love the car, but can't think of safe, practical, viable way of transporting our small dog in the rear of the car. I don't think it's doable but thought I'd sound you out before I Just accept that it can't be done and throw the towel in! Any sensible suggestions appreciated. "Dog partition for car" Doug A/That's not a GT6 B/The dog is (badly) Photoshopped into the boot.ย In real life a Lab is about twice asย big. C/ That flimsy netting wouldn't stop a Lab hitting you in the back of the neck in a frontal. ย This would be a better option, anchored in the boot:
Colin Lindsay
THAT's not a GT6 either. ย (Might be the new 2024 version going by the four doors and the size, though?) Unless you have a long, flat dog, or a very small one, it won't fit in the rear. Of course, you could always remove the boot floor panel and the spare wheel and pad out the resulting area to prevent injury from sharp edges. Might work with a certain size of dog? dougbgt6
I just copied the ad.ย Mum and Dad had a couple of miniature long haired dachshunds. I remember one of them getting stuck under the pedals on a trip up to Scotland. A tricky exercise trying to stop the car and extract the dog.ย ย Doug
Graham C
If you do not have a passenger then remove the passenger seat and make a box to fit with restraints and have dog in the box. Graham
