wallaceadrian_5770
I have a Stromberg 150 CD on my Herald which was fitted many years ago when I had my original 1200 engine replaced with one from a Herald 13/60. The carburettor leaks quiet badly so I am having it rebuilt. I have bought a kit from Rimmer's which seems to most of the components needed, but does not include the 'metering needle' . There seem to be quite a lot of Stromberg 150 CD metering needle variants on the market for various cars (e.g. '5M', '7B' etc) but does anyone know what type I would need for my Herald ? Any help or advice much appreciated 🙂.
Josef
Canley’s list the 13/60 needle as a 6E https://www.canleyclassics.com/?catalogue=triumph-herald-13/60&diagram=triumph-herald-13/60-stromberg-carburettor and they are the people I’d trust to get it right!
