Battery reading as stationary  is 13.6 . Is this too high ?
Battery is new Halfords 063 on my Vitesse

Think I’ve answered my question. Reading was using multi meter . Just checked with spare volt meter and it’s 12.8 . Guess the multi meter is not accurate

Lead acid cell has 2.2 volts X 6 is 13.2. So your a bit flat, or you've got two dodgy meters!

I’ll take readings from both and divide by 2 😀

Hi,
Voltage should be measured several hours after recharging/use.
For a standard car battery it should be >12,6V. >12.8V >would be a quality battery.

13.2V is very wishful thinking. Lithium maybe. Lead Acid, Not.

If anyone is concerned about their battery; fit a £20 battery monitor. (Smartphone required).

Cheap meters are normally accurate on DC. Low internal batteries normally make readings high.

Iain.
