Aidsaunders Posted October 3 Report Posted October 3 Can anyone lend an original steering wheel or, recommend a replacement that fits?
Colin Lindsay Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Elaborate for us, please!! What's the reason? You can buy all sorts of wheels - dished, semi dished, flat etc and also in various sizes; my Herald wheel was too big for my legs at 15 inch so I went for a smaller Vitesse wheel at 14 inch and that solved my problems. I have plenty of wheels of all descriptions, but as always distance is the problem.
johny Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 Just one thing Colin, my Vitesse has its original spoked steering wheel and its 15+ inches in fact Id like to go to a 14 but I dont think any Vitesse had one as standard...

What's an inch between friends? Okay reduce from 16" to 15" and it will still hit your legs (careful, Doug!) but not as much. However I'm still curious as to what Aidsaunders needs, in case I can help more accurately.
Aidsaunders Posted October 4 Author Report Posted October 4 Mk3 GT6. Mine came with a Mountney that doesn’t fit properly.
Josef Posted October 4 Report Posted October 4 There’s an easy option, Fitchetts have a used squaretail wheel on eBay at the moment. Search for the part number 160038 and it should show up. It’s the right one for the car so should “just work”.
