OK peeps,

Where do I get decent quality engine and gearbox mounts?  Lifting engine and gearbox, considering changing the mounts as a matter of course.

Id think carefully about this as rubber components particularly can be poor compared with originals which can look worn but actually are still perfectly serviceable. My engine mounts are original 50+ year old items and I wont be changing them if I can help it. The gearbox mounts (non OD, cotton reel type) are pattern parts and so have to be replaced every few years☹️ Always go to polyurethane type but I cant comment on these except theyre much more expensive....

If you've ever seen the state of some 'elderly' versions you'd definitely change them regularly. I haven't needed any in a long time; who sells the poly versions?
