Guest
A couple of people I know have used Anglia Radiators near Cambridge. Did an excellent job by all accounts. Phone - 01223 314444 Cost wise, no idea. Good luck. Richard.

Andrew
Have you tried the club shop after all it is our shop so we should always give them first try on anything for our cars Regards Andrew
JohnD
Just tried the Club Shop, under "cooling". No radiators. I was put off by an OE pattern rad in brass at over £200, when could buy a Honda Civic in aluminium for £80. Needed a few mods to make it work, but hey! I like fettling. Colin Lindsay
You can buy any radiator from any scrappie which will fit with a bit of fettling..... Got mine recored for £100 with a modern uprated core, as long as the top and bottom header / footer sections are reusable they can fit the core in-between to look like the original. Clive
I bet a£100 wasn't recent! Round here all the repair shops are disappearing, what few there were, as modern disposable rads don't get repaired/reconned but just replaced. There are still rad specialists about, but you may have to travel. Or the usual suspects (canleys etc) should have them on an exchange basis. Using a modern alternative can be more complicated that expected. Some of us are very adept at making/adapting stuff for our cars, but if you aren't then get a straight replacement. Paul H
Thanks for heads up re the TSSC shop , just rang and they do offer a recore service at £160 ( not sure if this includes redelivery ) This is the cheapest Ive found even with delivery to them . I did find Honda Civic alloy radiators at £62 deld on Ebay but the side brackets would need fabricating in ally and tig welded which I cant do . Incidently next best price was £210 which includes collection and redelivery - this is for a Vitesse 2 litre - Thanks again - I incorrectly assumed the catalog was all they did
JohnD
So did I - when the Club is run as a business I would expect them to do so. Yes, bivvyman (?) I had to buy some alloy sheet from ebay, make the brackets and get a local firm to TiG weld them on. I also had to make a new thermostat cover, with the outlet going the other way. But then, I like fettling! John
