Tony Brandon Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 I was owner of this car from around 1980 to about 15 years ago and sold it to a father and son who were going to restore it after it had been sitting in my garage fo many years due to ill-health. I found recently that it was last issued with a VSC 0n 21 July 2020 but is now listed as "Black" rather than the Pimento Red when I owned it. I would love to know if it is still on the road and see some photos of it if anyone knows of it's whereabouts?
dougbgt6 Posted October 29 Report Posted October 29 Hi Tony, DVLA also says it's SORN, legally cars should be taxed or SORN'd. This car is a 1971 and would have been included in the original 40 year free road tax legislation. So there's no reason to keep it SORN It was last MOT'd in 2009, failed badly, but got fixed and MOT ran out in 2010. Once a car has been declared heritage you can exempt it from MOTs, but you must still tax it, for zero £. The fact the V5C was re-issued in 2020 is a good sign maybe the car's been taken on as a project and Covid intervened? Doug
