Andrew Posted November 4 Report Posted November 4 If we cannot buy from the club shop any more what is the purpose of having a members price and a non members price on parts purchased at the shop. And it is one more reason not to renew our membership Andrew
AndyTV8 Posted November 5 Report Posted November 5 Without the shop being operational then the member/non-member prices are just historic. I’m sure the Club and the working-group who are looking at the best way to proceed will be able to update members in due course. For the moment, you are correct that one of the previous benefits of membership is not currently available. …Andy

I always pay up to support the club, mainly for the forum and occasional event I attend, in my case. I have purchased the odd good deal, though have found more competitive prices from other reliable sources. Maybe there should be a reduction in membership price, as we no longer have the shop facility? and this in theory reduces the overheads at some level? 1
Sue Franklin Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 The working party and volunteers are continuing to look at the future of the Club Shop. I am sure we will be advised of the outcome in due course but would any entity continue with a loss making enterprise in the current economic climate? Certainly not a reason for non renewal of membership as there are so many other benefits of being a member. 2
