Wes
Hi everyone I was just getting into the old forum when it all went belly up! Never-mind, good to have it back. I drove to work in my Spitfire last Friday and found a German chap taking photos of her as I was about to leave for the day. "Is this your car?" he asked, I admitted responsibility, "It's really nice" he said. "She's a bit grubby", I confessed, I felt I should apologise for the many and varied shades of blue. "Ah, but she's got soul" he replied. I thanked him and drove home a happy man. Beats the last comment of "still got your MG?" Wes

Wes
Was he a Triumph Owner? What was his interest in classics? What was he doing in your area? Anything Triumph related?Etc. etc. etc. No idea! I was a bit surprised by the whole thing at the time and didn't stop long enough to chat. He had a decent looking camera (i.e.it was huge), I think he was just out taking photos of the seafront/pier and anything with 'soul' that took his eye.
