Paul H
Sorry a newbie ? The inner lights are sealed beam , the outers are Halogens with side light bulb - The side light bulb is not connected . Do I need to fit a relay for these outer Halogens ? The pic is one of the outers - Is this the whole bulb or does it break down further Thanks in advance
Pete Lewis
There little difference in the current used by 55watt sealed beam or H4 halogens all lights on the small chassis cars benefit from relays as there is a wonderous voltage drop in the long wiring and old snap connectors wonky swithes its not uncommon to only have 10 volts at the pointed end , so getting 12/14,5 to the old sealed beams will make a great difference to the glow worms and more with halogens, somyes fit relays but not just because you have bulbed headlamps you dont need to use the pilot lamp unless you like more side light presence. Your pic is a std H4 halogen bulb the white three pin connector just pulls off the lucar terminals and you are left with the bulb its location rim and the three blade terminals Pete
