Darren Groves
Anyone know where you can get standard air filters for Stromberg CD125 Carbs?
Guest
Do you have a Unipart number, Darren ?? Have to confess not seen many over the years. However Beaulieu in a few weeks so that may turn up something if you are going ?? If not going, I will keep an eye out for some if that assists ?? Regards. Richard. Needed for a Vitesse with an Alexander conversion, seems the CD125 wasn't a common application on much other than sporty Imps.... If I haven't tracked any down before Beaulieu I may take you up on the offer. Many thanks
Pete Lewis
http://britishclassicspareparts.com.au/british-parts/fuel-air/airfilter-pancake-fit-su-1-14-hs2-h2-hd2-cd125 this looks abit universal but says cd125 its adollar site but the sku number may be traceable did the alexander kit use pancakes or a filter box Could a spitty box be adapted if paper elements are required ? or modify the SU filter with some new cut outs and such pete
Darren Groves
Currently the car has plain paper filters bolted direct to the carbs, using a blanking plates to hold them in position, no air filter box. Not sure how they were originally.
Colin Lindsay
Thankfully my sets all came with metal and wire reusable filters but I know Speedograph filters come up on eBay from time to time. Just keep searching 125 and you'll find some. Hillman Imp clubs may have access to a source.

Darren Groves
Thanks for the replies. I have sent an email to Malcolm Anderson, who I think is a bit of an Imp guru to see if he can help. I also found a very old post by a William Davies looking for parts for these carbs for a Herald, so I've assumed that was Bill from Rarebits so have emailed him as well..... Guest
Hello. I thought the Imp Club parts document was laid out very well with additional info - very neat. Some Alexander conversion photos attached. Regards. Richard
